Hoping for something - Intermediate
When we are talking about something in the future that we want but maybe it won't happen, we use a number of phrases. Here are ten of them.

How To Use These Phrases In Your English:
- Phrases 1, 2 and 3 are all saying that the speaker wants sunny weather tomorrow and that she thinks it might happen.
- Phrase 4 is saying that the speaker wants sunny weather and he thinks that everybody wants sunny weather too.
- Phrases 6 and 7 are saying that the speaker wants a sunny day but that it is very possible that it will rain.
- Phrase 8 is asying that it will probably rain but that the speaker still wants it to be sunny.
- Phrase 9 is saying that the speaker wants a sunny day and that he is not going to be prepared if it rains.
- Phrase 10 is saying that the speaker really needs sunny weather. If it rains it will be a disaster.
